For Visalia, it is important to make energy reach everyone. Our goal is to be a transformative energy force, and to achieve this, we engage with social issues that involve making energy accessible to everyone: individuals, groups, communities, and businesses, regardless of their social and economic status.
Consequently, many of the actions related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are undertaken through charity activities carried out in collaboration with the Fundación Energía Responsable, a non-profit organisation that follows a participatory model and is open to individuals, companies, and entities from the third sector to generate social and environmental impact. Visalia is a prominent member of the board of trustees of this foundation, through which it channels its corporate social responsibility.
To strengthen our commitment to corporate social responsibility, Visalia promotes and participates in two energy companies, Luz Inclusiva and Luz Solidaria, which aim, respectively, to facilitate the employment of people with disabilities and to raise funds for initiatives related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), supporting the charitable work of over 100 NGOs and charitable foundations.
