Pablo Abejas, Visalia’s CEO

Pablo Abejas is a prominent business leader and Visalia’s CEO, boasting extensive experience in the energy sector in Spain.

Pablo began his professional career at Sunair One Energy SL, where he held the position of Executive Manager from July 2014 to February 2016. In this company, he had the opportunity to carry out a diverse range of roles, from financial management to product development and sales. His leadership was crucial in significantly increasing the company’s turnover from €9.8 million to €49.8 million in just one year.

Pablo subsequently took on the role of Executive Manager at A2 Energía, a start-up within the AUDAX Group, operating in the energy trading sector in Europe. During this period, he played a pivotal role in establishing and developing this new entity, fostering the company’s growth and expanding its presence within the European energy market.

After his time at A2 Energía, Pablo served as Manager at Audax Energía from March 2017 to April 2018. At this stage, he led a diverse and global team of over 360 individuals across five countries, overseeing the production of electricity from 100% renewable sources. His ability to manage and motivate international teams showcased his expertise in leading people and overseeing large-scale projects.

Continuing his upward trajectory, Pablo joined Plenitude, previously known as Aldro Energía, where he held the position of Partner & General Manager from February 2019 to January 2021. During his time at this 100% renewable energy provider, he played a crucial role in strengthening its position within the Spanish market, increasing its turnover from €60 million to €1 billion annually. His leadership not only focused on financial growth but also on fostering widespread consumer adoption of clean energy.

Currently, in his role as Visalia’s CEO, a leading company in the energy sector, Pablo has spearheaded a revolution in energy production and marketing. Visalia includes Watium, Syder Comercializadora Verde, Doméstica, Gashogar, Visalia Solar, and Visalia Renovable.

From the outset of his professional career, Pablo has shown a strong conviction in the potential of renewable energy as a catalyst for change. He believes that these clean and sustainable sources have the potential not only to revolutionise the ways in which energy is generated and used, but also to benefit communities, businesses, and the environment as a whole.

Pablo Abejas holds a degree in Law from Complutense University of Madrid and an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from IE Business School, where he received an honourable mention as the winner of the Venture Lab for Entrepreneurs with the project “Cerca de ti”.

Alejandro Tejero-Garcés, Visalia’s Managing Director

Alejandro Tejero-Garcés Galve is a professional with a strong background in the energy sector and business management. He currently serves as Visalia’s Managing Director, having spent over 17 years at the helm of GasHogar, a family-owned company specialising in the energy sector. His career includes key roles in strategic consulting at firms such as PwC and SmartPoint, where he established himself as an expert in operations, business growth, and positioning within highly competitive markets.

With a background in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Navarra and an MBA from IE Business School, Alejandro effectively combines analytical insight with strategic thinking. His approach focuses on creating sustainable value, operational innovation, and business consultancy, positioning itself as a leader in the transformation of the energy sector.

Pepi Jiménez, Director of Compliance and Human Resources at Visalia

Pepi Jiménez is the Corporate Director at Visalia, where she heads the areas of sustainability, compliance, legal affairs, and human resources. With a holistic view of the energy sector and a strong commitment to social responsibility, she serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Fundación Energía Responsable and coordinates the operational management of the Luz Solidaria and Luz Inclusiva projects, which aim to support vulnerable groups and promote workforce inclusion.

She has extensive experience with companies such as Alpiq, Audax, EnergyHouse, and Our New Energy. Additionally, and is a founding partner of JQ Advisors, a firm specialising in strategy and operations for electricity trading companies. Her qualifications include an Executive MBA from EAE Business School and a master’s degree in energy management, which enhance her expertise in strategic communication, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.

Pedro Galve, Director of Institutional Relations at Visalia

Pedro Galve is a leading figure in the energy distribution sector, with over 30 years of experience driving business projects in this field. He currently leads the Institutional Relations department at Visalia, having previously founded and served as chairman of several key companies in the sector, including GasHogar, one of the brands that contributed to the establishment of Visalia. His career combines strategic vision, entrepreneurship, and extensive knowledge of the energy market.

With a degree in Law and executive training from the Instituto de Empresa, he has chaired companies such as Iberpropano, Disarbutan, and Aragon Oil, specialising in the distribution of energy in various forms. His profile is distinguished by his ability to forge partnerships, develop sustainable businesses, and lead teams with a focus on results and long-term growth.

Benjamín Abejas is the Director of Transformation and Digital Sales at Visalia, where he spearheads key initiatives for digitisation and business development. An engineer by training, with master’s degrees in Data Analytics and Telecommunications Engineering, Benjamín stands out for his ability to turn complex challenges into efficient and sustainable solutions.
